Patricia “Tricia” Louise Muir, Bierly, Allen, Kilfoil passed away on Friday, after a short battle with cancer. She was a rascally, spunky gal with a twinkle in her eye and a great love of beauty in her heart. She was surrounded by both heavenly and earthly love at her passing
Tricia was born In Oakland, California to John Thomas and Florence Benjamine Muir. She was a graduate of Castlemont High School class of 1959. She was an artist and a writer and would sing and play the piano with great passion and finesse. She was first married to Charles Arthur Bierly in 1961 and had her four children. She married James Steven Allen in 1972 until he passed in 1993. She married her old High School sweetheart, John Joseph Kilfoil, in the spring of 1997 until his death in 2005.
She was a most excellent mother to her four biological children, Michael Bierly (Lydia) of San Ramon, Justine Kistler (Vance) of Fairfield, Daniel Bierly (Kindra) of Sherman, TX and Thomas Bierly of Walnut Creek. Her Heart also touched her stepchildren, Dana Grant (Stephen) of Chico California, Curt Allen (Mary) of Red Bluff, John Kilfoil Jr. of Ohio, Jennifer Lee (Michael) deceased, Taylor Kilfoil (Georgina) of Australia, and Kristian Kilfoil (Yolanda) of San Francisco.
She was known as “Grandma Goblin” and adored by her grandchildren, Sarah Kistler (Cory) of Concord, James Kistler (Joanna) of Fairfield, Christen Edmonds (Jeff) of Yuba City, Lauren Bierly of Flower Mound, TX, Sabrina Wallace (Alec) of Sherman, TX, Jacob Rogan of Sherman, TX, Ava Bierly of Walnut Creek, Thomas Bierly of Walnut Creek, Danielle Brierly of Florida, Jessica Brierly of Idaho, Claire Grant of Oregon, Quin Lee of Santa Rosa, Lincoln Allen of Red Bluff, Abigail Kilfoil of Australia and Amelia Kilfoil of San Francisco. Tricia had two great grandchildren, Amara Castillo of TX and Bowen Edmonds of Yuba City.
Tricia is survived by her sister Nance Carpenter (Jim) of Pleasanton and brother Jay Muir (Lili) of Daly City and many loving cousins.
Her passion and sense of adventure were admired and will be greatly missed!
A memorial service will be held in her honor 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 101 Oakwood Dr., Fairfield, CA.
