Katherine Ann Chapman Petch

Katherine Ann Chapman Petch, 58, of Pleasant Hill California, passed away on March 26, 2023, at John Muir Hospital in Concord from a severe infection that was caused by an unknown battle with cancer. She took her last breath while her daughter Jessica held her hand.

Kathy was born on December 4, 1964, in Walnut Creek, CA and lived in Pleasant Hill her entire life. She attended schools in Pleasant Hill from kindergarten thru college. 

Kathy was predeceased by Father Alex L. Chapman, Sister Laura Chapman, and Son Dylan Petch. She is survived by her Mother Gloria Chapman, Daughter Jessica Petch Walenter, Son Frank Petch, Son-in-Law Jacob Walenter, Brothers Adam and Michael Chapman, Brother-in-law John Rossi, Sister Angela Chapman, Sister-in-laws Ingrid Chapman and Meghan Chapman, Grandchild Dylan Petch, including many other family members, and countless friends.

Kathy was known for her generosity, being a great mother, her cooking and homemade cookies. She had a love for animals and adored her grand puppy, Colt.

Kathy will join her Sister Laura Chapman and Son Dylan Petch at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette. Her memorial will be announced at a later date.

Kathy will always be in our hearts and deeply missed.
