Karin Brigitta Spivey of Walnut Creek passed quietly at home with her family on Sunday January 24th 2021 She is survived by her daughters Sharon MacCaskie of Connecticut and Sandra Riff of Oregon as well as her grandchildren Melanie, Deirdre, Samantha and Sabrina and great-grandchildren Daniel and Violet.
Karin became a wife to John W. Spivey and a mother and moved from her home country of Germany to America before the age of 20 and worked hard and really exemplified the American dream of home and family. She was an incredibly smart, generous and funny woman as well as a great mom and an even better grandma. She was always available to help family and strangers without reservations. She will be missed immensely by those she left.
