In 1973 he transferred to the Strike Force in San Francisco where he served until leaving in 1981 to start his own criminal defense practice. In addition to his years as a trial lawyer, Jerry worked alongside his wife Marianne as President of St. Andrews Golf and Country Club in West Chicago, IL from 2002-2020. Jerry was a long-time member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Walnut Creek, CA.
