Charlotte Louella Krausnick Aszklar
Our Mom, Charlotte Louella Krausnick Aszklar, Departed her loving family on Tuesday August 30, 2022.
Charlotte was born in Monrovia, California on October 8, 1932 to Fred and Ina Krausnick. Charlotte was raised in Lafayette California, a graduate of Acalanes High School, met her husband in Canyon California and raised her four children in Orinda.
Charlotte was mother to Victoria, Bridget, Jonathan and David. Mom’s family grew, adding Son in Laws Matt and Gary, Daughter in Law Caroline. Seven Grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Keith, Erik, Alexandra, Shelby & Jordan. Eight Great Grandchildren, Zander, Keegan, Grayson, Dominick, Paityn, Piper, Jack & Jacob.
As A homemaker, Charlotte was known for her love of Singing, her devotion to Theater was passionate for over 30 years. Charlotte loved Acting, the backstage handling of props, costumes with her sister Barbara and sometimes even taking on the role of an assistant director. Charlotte was dedicated to the Lafayette Laf-Frantic’s and Dramateurs Town Hall, taking pride in her role in production’s like “ Gypsy Rose Lee” and Holiday Classics like “ A Christmas Carol” where she played Mrs. Fezzwig.
Her Hobbies , especially in her later years of life included Cross Stitch and a lot of time spent on Adult Coloring Books leaving us all with wonderful memories.
