David James Saller age 44 of Martinez, California was born on June 23, 1974 and died in Walnut Creek, California on May 29, 2019 from Melanoma cancer.
His early days were spent playing many sports; football, basketball, soccer, swimming and baseball. The family spent many summers camping, house boating while enjoying waterskiing as well. David was an avid Raider fan and attended as many games as he could.
He attended Sequoia Elementary School, Sequoia Middle School and DeLaSalle High School graduating in 1993. He was on the Freshman football team and as a Senior did Track and Field throwing shot put and discus. Later he received a certificate in Construction Management Technology and an Associate in Arts degree in Technology Education at San Joaquin Delta College.
He is survived by his parents James and Nancy Saller of Pleasant Hill, California, sisters Annette Emerson, husband Richard and children Courtney and Blake of Lafayette and Karen Deilke, husband Danny and children Josh, Otto and Rosy of Pleasant Hill.
He is survived by his wife Akila Marie and son Orion James (15) and daughter Ashjanee Nicolette Nancy (9) and step-children Mariya and Ramon.
He is also survived by his first wife Amber Nicole and son Drew James, wife Wendy of Ft. Polk, Louisiana and son Dustin Anthony of Concord.

Memorial to be held at Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 No. Main St, Walnut Creek, California on June 6, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
