Lanning James Bryant passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2017, of congestive heart failure.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, on October 8, 1946, he is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Carolyn, and cherished children Jameson, 29, and Allison Bryant, 27.  He is also survived by two brothers, Barry Bryant of Toledo, Ohio, and Clark Bryant of Vancouver, Washington.

Lanny was an active member of the real appraisal community for 40 years, until his retirement this year due to health-related issues.  He loved cycling, tennis, and woodworking, and enjoyed participating in the Woodlands community.  He was a man of infinite interests and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday Nov. 18, 2017 at noon, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church on Wiget Lane in Walnut Creek.  Flowers or contributions to the American Heart Association in his memory are welcome by the family.
