Donald Francis Scully Jr, 58, died 5/6/2017 peacefully in Walnut Creek, CA surrounded by loved ones.
This marked the end of one hell of a fight that he put up against Adrenal Cancer for almost a decade. He fought for his life and his family and exceeded his doctors’ expectations every step of the way.
Donald Francis Scully Jr. was born November 28th, 1958, in New York, New York. He moved to California in 1972 and stayed living there for the rest of his life. He quickly moved up the ladder in the Banking world working for Security Pacific, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo is where he would end his career. He was a model employee as well as an amazing, boss/son/sibling/father/coach/role model in his personal life as well.
Donald Francis Scully Jr. Spent over 30 years supporting his wife, Matahom (Pearl) Scully, His daughter, Johanna Scully, his 2 sons Donald & Chris Scully, as well as hundreds potentially even thousands of lives overseas in the Philippines. Every life he touched was instantly changed for the better due to his generosity, loving and caring nature, and his general positive outlook on life.
In 2011 he was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Adrenal Cancer. He underwent a procedure never before attempted at Stanford University where they removed a 19 lb tumor from his body. He never gave up despite all odds and lived years after that day. The research and data compiled from Don will help countless suffering lives in the years to come. Even in his death, he will still be helping people.

On Thursday May 18th, Mass Service will be held at Christ The King Church at 10:00 AM, Followed by a celebration of life at 12:30 PM at Heather Farm Community Center.
