Buren Leonard Eshelman

Buren Leonard Eshelman (Pete) passed away on May 19, 2017.

Buren was born in Bayfield, Colorado to Marcia and Roy Eshelman. He graduated from High School in Durango Colorado and joined the Army Air Corp which later became the Air Force and served his country for 20 yrs.  He traveled the world while serving and was stationed in Germany and Japan.  After retiring from the Air Force Buren moved to Concord and lived there until 1975.  After living in several other places he returned to Concord for the last few years of his life.

Buren loved his family and he always did what was necessary to protect them.  

Buren is survived by sons, Neil, John and Scott, daughters Vicki, Janice, Diane and Adrienne and grandchildren Marc, Paul Michael, Lisa, Ken, Sherry, Rick, Rebecca and Anglio.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Marcia, brother Vern, sister Lilly, his three wives Lillian, Clarine, and Barbara, son Paul and grandsons Chris and Darren.

Visitation is on Wednesday, May 24th from 5-8 pm, with services on Thursday, May 25th at 12:00pm at Oak Hills Park Chapel with military honors and burial following at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette.
