We are celebrating 50 years as funeral directors and cremation service professionals. Owned and managed by the Magleby family since 1961. It is our honor to offer personal service from our family to your family.
More than any other feature that separates us from other local funeral directors - cremation providers, OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL has been family owned and operated for 50 years. First opened in 1961 by our father and mother, Roger and Shirley Magleby. 50 years later Brad (a resident of Pleasant Hill), Mark (a resident of Cordelia/Fairfield/Solano County) and Todd Magleby (a resident of Benicia, CA) now share the personal responsibility and professional relationship that must exist between grieving client and mortuary owner. A relationship which can not exist between client or any corporate owned funeral - cremation provider. Unlike most other family owned firms, Brad, Mark and Todd have a combined 85 years of professional experience and are licensed in all the clinical/restorative art and professional aspects of funeral direction and cremation services. We are assisted by Jeffrey T. Aydelotte (resident of Antioch/Brentwood) who has worked in multiple areas such as Marin County, Sacramento County and Alaska, having served the people of those areas for 20 years. Mark is a graduate of Brigham Young University and serves as a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints High Councilor. The Magleby's are decendants of handcart pioneers. It is our honor to assist you as you walk perhaps the sharpest emotional edge of your lives with compassion, experience and professional responsibility.
